Grain Republic Groningen

From milkman to queen: everybody in Holland grew up with breakfast cereals made from Groningen grain. The flourishing fields of gold resulted in immensely wealthy farmers, local communism, and dotted the landscape with giant red brick factories. The endless yellow grain has now made place for blue waves, but the Grain Republic lives on. To this day, plenty of local sowing, growing, malting, brewing, baking and distilling still takes place.
