The cakes proved so popular that a neighbouring building was occupied in early 2014 to expand the range there to include cakes without gluten, sugar, etc., in addition to sweet and savoury cakes, chocolates and ice cream. The lunches are served in a beautiful, fully restored building, dating back to 1630. The stained-glass windows with their many colours create a cheerful coloured border on the floor and tables in sunny weather. The interior of Elmer's s is somewhat rural with natural materials and many guests experience a homely atmosphere. In addition to homeliness, Elmer's has sustainability, integration and cosiness at its heart.
