Allersmaborg
North-east of the village of Ezinge is the small area of Allersma. This is where Allersmaborg, built in the 15th century, stands. Around the borg is a spacious moat with a drawbridge and wooded enclosures.

The borg also has a dovecote from the 18th century. The south wing is the oldest part of the borg. It also has two more wings: a north wing built in the 16th century and an east wing from 1720. A second floor was added to the east wing in 1817. Allersmaborg was occupied until 2004, after which the University of Groningen got a long lease on the building. The borg was refurbished to turn it into a meeting centre for former students of the university. Now Allersmaborg is a suitable space for meetings. It is also possible to get married in the borg.
