Kerk Wehe den Hoorn
A 13th-century church. According to a commemorative stone in the original west wall, an entrance was created on the west side in 1653.
The exterior of the church was plastered in 1880. The tower was built in 1656. Some pieces of the 18th-century furniture feature carvings by Casper Struiwig, including the Tjarda van Starkenborgh coat of arms above the north door, which may have come from a gentleman’s pew. Beneath the chancel lies the burial vault for the Tjarda van Starkenborgh family. In 1985, Wout Muller and Matthijs Röling painted the wooden vault.
