Small cosy family campsite in northern Groningen. 20 km above the city of Groningen. Very centrally located in the province, so ideal for all excursions in the area. You have free access to a beautiful beautiful heated outdoor swimming pool with diving boards and a paddling pool. All this surrounded by a beautiful sunbathing lawn with play equipment. There is a separate field for the footballers among us. For our guests, there is a play area with TV and, among other things, a football table. There is a nice caravan and a chalet for rent, these are cozy among all the other guests who come with their own caravan or tent. The caravans are very well equipped and fully furnished. Each pitch has planting to the rear, you have a good view but can see the playground from most pitches. The swimming pool is a safe distance away, right next to the campsite (where the campsite reception is). You are free to use it during opening hours. The pitches are equipped with an electricity connection. Free Wi-Fi! In high season, you can order delicious bread rolls. For our younger guests, there is plenty of play equipment, such as a large dug-in trampoline, cable car, slide (high and low), swings, sandpit, climbing arch, sandmill, playhouse, tumbling frame and the much-used marble pot. There is a tennis court, and a table tennis table. You can also borrow outdoor toys such as balance bikes, go-karts, bicycles and tricycles. If there is enough interest, we occasionally organise something for the children. In the surroundings The surroundings are beautiful for walking and cycling. A visit to the seal sanctuary in Pieterburen is another possibility. Or how about a mudflat trip on the mudflats (from 7 years of age) or, for the older ones, a real mudflat walk. A round trip on the mud flats is also possible. You can take trips to Schiermonnikoog, Ameland or the German Wadden Island of Borkum. All within easy reach of the campsite. The open-air museum in the village is definitely worth a visit.
