During the unique route of almost 350 kilometres, you will discover the beautiful versatile province of Groningen. From the straight canals in the south to the Wadden Sea in the north, and from the Frisian border in the west to the German border in the east.

During the route, you cycle through smaller villages and slightly larger towns, past meadows and industry, on country roads, cobbled roads, gravel paths and sometimes 'just' on asphalt. But always well passable and as much as possible car-free. There is no fixed starting or finishing point. You decide where to start and how many kilometres you cycle each day. And whether you are trained or not, have a recumbent or an e-bike: Round Groningen is for everyone.

Follow the water, along canals, small rivers, the Dollard, the Lauwersmeer and, of course, the Wadden Sea. Cross forests and moorlands and follow the many church towers, mills and locks.
