The Straw Hotel consists of three accommodations: the stro-iglo, the straw castle and the hayloft. The huifkar is for the really adventurous. You can also come to the Hayema Heerd for activities and workshops, individual or for groups.
With a lot of inspiration, creativity and fun, three unique and particularly atmospheric stro-iglo igloos have been built. The large igloo is comfortably furnished for four people, with a cosy dining area, a spacious double bed, a sofa bed and a minibar. The double igloo is super romantic with the bed in the middle, and lovely dining area for two and, of course, a minibar as well.

Imagine; on a clear night, you can look at the starry sky from your pillow. In spring, you can see the little birds flying overhead. The stro-iglo is built entirely of straw, the wooden floor is insulated. As soon as you step out of the igloo, you have an unrivalled panoramic view. Now that's enjoying yourself from your own terrace. All overnight stays in the straw include luxury linen, welcome drink, use of minibar. Luxury breakfast can also be booked.
The straw hotel is very suitable as a romantic stay for two, but also lends itself perfectly as group accommodation for the family, family or group of friends.
The straw castle can accommodate two to a maximum of six people and has a bathroom with luxury shower cabin, sink and toilet. There are three spacious double straw beds. If desired, a delicious breakfast will be delivered to the castle in the morning.
Children have their own prince or princess bed made of straw. There is also plenty of room to play, both indoors and outdoors. In addition, children get to help feed the bunnies, chickens and sheep.
The Hayloft is our group accommodation.
With your group of friends, family or a group of colleagues, you can book all eight sleeping compartments and the three double beds in the hayloft as group accommodation. If your group consists of up to 20 people and you need more space and privacy, you can also book the straw castle. It is also possible to book the entire accommodation, including the three stro-igloand the four covered wagons. You will then have the entire accommodation - excluding the camping area - exclusively for your group. That is - divided over 9 separate accommodations - a total of 28 separate beds for up to 41 people.
Listed price is a starting price for two people. Feel free to request a quote for more persons and/or children.
