From 1 October 2024, 't Gouden Appeltje will be closed due to the strengthening of the premises. The tea shop will temporarily move to Dijkstraat 45 in Appingedam (opening hours Friday and Saturday from 10:00 - 17:00).
Marije Faber (12 years old), when moving to the Golden Pledge 1 in Appingedam, came up with the idea that they could start selling coffee, tea and apple pie. She also immediately came up with an appropriate name: 't Gouden Appeltje. A super cute idea, which the whole family embraced. Margriet, Marije's mother, furnished and transformed the ground floor of 'Het Gouden Pand' into a cosy and contemporary coffee café.
Besides delicious (apple) pie, 't Gouden Appeltje also serves delicious high tea.

We are open every Friday and Saturday from 10am to 5pm and for groups also on other days.
