Antiquariaat Bladzij 20 has been based in Bedum since 1995. The owners and book lovers, Tiemen and Alma, live next to the shop, which means you can usually visit the bookshop outside opening hours too. They’re always happy to help you find the book you’re looking for. The shop isn’t just based in Groningen; it also specialises in books about Groningen, also known as ‘Groningana’. There’s also a whole bookcase dedicated to books about the neighbouring provinces, Drenthe and Friesland. Furthermore, Bladzij 20 stocks a general range covering history, art and nature. There are also metres of shelves filled with fiction, including literature, thrillers and children’s books. In short, there’s something for everyone!
