Beeldentaal
For artist Bep Jansse of Noordwijk, her beautiful garden is the showcase for her sculptures!
Take a closer look
The garden is 2000 m2 in size, has mainly evergreen plants and has many paths, making it possible to view all works of art up close. Sitting on one of the many seats, you can let the garden take effect on you. There is plenty to see and Bep is happy to talk about her working methods and creations.
The sculptures are designed in clay. Plaster moulds are made around the model, from which the clay is then removed. The moulds are filled with white and/or aluminium cement. When the cast is fully cured, the mould is cut off. As it cannot be reused, each sculpture is a one-off.

Bep draws her inspiration from nature and the people and animals around her. Her sculptural inspiration is almost inexhaustible, which is reflected in her sculptures and ceramics. A surprising shape is hidden in every lump of clay.
