The largest room, 80 m2 Hereplein, is located on the second floor, and its two-storey height makes it look spacious. On the fourth floor are two connected boardrooms; the Grote Markt 55m2 and the Nieuw Markt 25m2. On the ground floor is Café Willem Albert, with a high-end bar and terrace where you can enjoy dinner and drinks. Café Willem Albert is Groningen's living room where everyone feels at home. With the broad, accessible menu we want to serve everyone and give the 'Dutch Cuisine' recognition and appreciation again. As much as possible, we use regional products and ingredients from Dutch soil. The ground floor also houses the traditional bakery, Bakkerij Westers. Where you can enjoy delicious coffee, sandwiches (to-go) and luxury patisserie.
Unwind at the Wellcome Wellness. The wellness area has a gym, sauna and Turkish bath. Enjoy a relaxing massage in the two treatment rooms. The perfect place to end or start a busy day.
The Market Hotel is an all-electric and completely gas-free hotel. We pay a lot of attention to sustainability and corporate social responsibility, which also earned us the Golden Grey key, of which we are very proud.
