Comprehensive and complete
‘It’s so spacious here!’ is something we often hear our guests say. The layout of the Robersum group accommodation is therefore ideal for large families. The young nephews and nieces can stay together on the first floor in the two bedrooms, each sleeping seven people. The ground floor of the house, which is fully accessible, has six double bedrooms and two four-bed rooms. All bedrooms have their own washbasin. Cook up a feast in the professional kitchen and gather round the wood-burning stove or out on the terrace. Or take a moment to yourself in your own room. You can do both here. And if something suddenly isn’t working or you have any questions? We live just a short distance away and are always on hand.
Being together with everything close by
With plenty of playground equipment on site, the children certainly won’t get bored. Enjoy the sunshine in peace and quiet, play games and fire up the barbecue in the evening: you don’t need to leave Robersum for a great day out. Fancy getting out and about? The surrounding area is perfect for all sorts of day trips and activities. Go for a walk or take a boat trip across the Lauwersmeer. Or head out onto the mudflats, either by boat or on foot on a mudflat walking tour. Visit the Seal Centre in Pieterburen or stroll past the brightly coloured cottages of Zoutkamp. This old fishing village also has a small beach where you can enjoy a swim. Everything is nearby and you’ll be there in no time.

Discover the Lauwersmeer!
In earlier times, fresh and salt water flowed into each other in the Lauwerszee. Fear of flooding led to the construction of a dam in 1969. A beautiful new landscape emerged on the former seabed, a true bird paradise. Nature in the Lauwersmeer is so special that the area has been designated as a National Park.
Schiermonnikoog
The island of Schiermonnikoog is car-free and is therefore particularly popular for its tranquillity and space. The largest part of this smallest Wadden Island falls under National Park Schiermonnikoog, with plenty of dunes, beach, woods, mud flats and polder. Schiermonnikoog was declared one of the Netherlands' twenty National Parks in 1989.
