This church is situated in the centre of the village on a mound and dates back to the thirteenth century. It is a straight-ended hall church.

The interior of the church is simple. The chancel is separated as a communion area by a simply carved screen with finials and vases, dating from around 1800. The pews, too, are virtually unadorned. Against this backdrop of simplicity, the pulpit stands out all the more. According to an inscription on the soundboard, it was made in 1660. Only the staircase is more recent: as the most vulnerable part, it has already been replaced once. Another notable feature is the reasonably well-preserved tower clock from 1545. Behind a wall of cupboards lies some mysterious graffiti, probably dating from the Eighty Years’ War.
