Landgoedboerderij Oosterheerdt is located on the Landgoed Nienoord in Leek. The monumental farmhouse, built in 1884, is definitely worth a visit. The characteristic elements in the façade, the ceilings and the old beeches in the front garden make it a picture to behold.
Farming on the farm, different animal species graze the land of the landgoed Nienoord, which is inextricably linked to the farm. Those Different animal species also have different grazing patterns and by regularly grazing with small numbers of animals, we see beautiful herb-rich grasslands. Besides the farming life, visitors can use the Bed and Breakfast in the monumental front house in one of the luxurious rooms or simply on the farmyard in a pipowagen. Breakfast consists of home-made and local produce as much as possible.

Visitors can hold meetings with lunch or coffee and sweets (or otherwise by arrangement) in the canteen or in the "Good Old Nel". On request, team outings/days are organised. The highlight is sheep herding with Border Collies. By herding sheep together with a group of colleagues or friends, you learn to communicate better, listen to each other and discover your valuable role in a team. Highly recommended.
The Farm Shop is open on Wednesdays/Fridays and Saturdays from 10:00-15:00. Every first Saturday of the month (except January), the Nienoord Regional Produce Market, from 10:00-16:00, is held in our yard.
The clients of the foundation de Zijlen, department Oosterheerdt, can be found with us every day for day care, with animal care/wood splitting and landscaping.
