De Biotoop
Housed in the buildings of the University of Groningen’s former Biological Centre is De Biotoop, a place brimming with exceptional entrepreneurs.
In the woods next to the Hortus stands the former Biological Centre of the University of Groningen. These days, it’s the place to be for creative types. The building is home to 180 residents, 150 artists and a further 100 entrepreneurs who have made it their home. A wonderfully diverse community, then. As a result, fun activities and workshops are often organised here, such as yoga and mindfulness.
