Fraeylemamolen
The Fraeylemamolen was built in 1786 to drain the Groote Oosterpolder (132 ha), commissioned by H. de Sandra Veldtman, lord of Slochteren at the Fraeylemaborg. The polder belongs to the Fraeylemaborg estate.

During a heavy storm on 9 November 1969, the entire mill blew over. The cast iron upper axle broke. At that time, the mill was still owned by the noble residents of Fraeylemaborg, the ladies Thomassen à Thuessink van der Hoop van Slochteren. As part of the land consolidation Slochteren, a restoration plan for the mill was carried out and the mill could be put back into use for pumping on 11 May 1974.
