For a number of years now, the business has been run by two ladies, Elbrich & Zaneta, who have built up a wonderful business with a great deal of love and energy.
The cuisine is exceptional, not only because of the surprising dishes, but also because almost everything is made in-house. The head chef, Zaneta, is originally from the Czech Republic and developed a great love of cooking at a young age, inspired by her mother. She subsequently trained as a pastry chef and, after working in a patisserie for several years, moved into the main kitchen. With great success. She enjoys cooking with wholesome ingredients and uses as many local produce as possible. In summer, plenty of vegetables come from Elbrich’s parents’ land, such as Swiss chard, rhubarb, pumpkin and Jerusalem artichokes. Elbrich mainly focuses on wines and cheeses. The restaurant’s wine list is small but varied. Alongside classic wines, it also features many wines from the New World and Eastern Europe.
As almost everything is made in-house, they know exactly what goes into it. Do you have any dietary requirements? No problem! They do, however, ask that you let them know in good time – at least one day in advance – so that they have time to prepare something delicious for you.
