B&B De Vijgenhof
De Vijgenhof is the name of the heritage lodge located at the rear of the old synagogue in the former Jewish school (shul). A unique accommodation in the medieval centre of Appingedam.

The former synagogue in Appingedam was built in 1801. The old synagogue is freely accessible from the Bed & Breakfast; our hostess will gladly tell you about the history of this Jewish house of prayer. The accommodation has one luxurious studio with all modern conveniences.
Throughout the year, numerous fun activities (the Damster stadsfeesten) are organised in the centre of Appingedam, such as Be Daip, Artiveer and the medieval Coopluydenmarkt.
De Vijgenhof is just a few minutes' walk from the centre of Appingedam, at the foot of the mound. The train station is only a 10-minute walk away and the bus stops around the corner. There is plenty of free parking nearby.
