From the motorhome site, you can walk straight into a nature reserve with three beautiful lakes. This nature area is perfect for nice walks, a picnic in the sun, a fishing trip or other sporting activities. Camperplaats Loosterstee has a rural location with panoramic views, but is at the same time close to amenities such as a supermarket (1km), a brasserie (600m) and a petrol station (1km).
Camperplaats Loosterstee has 35 spacious pitches with paving and grass. All pitches have electricity (10A) and free Wifi. The sanitary building is heated and equipped with 2 showers and 2 toilets. There are also washing-up areas and the availability of a washing machine. You can discharge your waste water/chemical toilet and fill your water tank with clean water at the fill and discharge point. In the summer months, you can enjoy colourful wild flowers in our sown flowerbeds.

Various walking and cycling routes take you to beautiful spots in the Westerwolde region. A visit to de fort of Bourtange or the Burcht in Wedde are favourites! A trip across the border is also possible: Loosterstee is 6 kilometres from the German border. A tour of the large shipbuilding yard Meyerwerft is then also a fun recommendation!
And you may have heard of it: 'The aaierbal' or 'Povvert'. Near Camperplaats Loosterstee, you can taste a delicious, homemade Groningen eierbal at the local food counter. A Groningen delicacy that even belongs to UNESCO cultural heritage. And if you cycle from the camper village the beautiful 'Gaastroute', you can taste delicious, among all other delicious things, homemade poffert on the terrace of Poffert&zo!
