From an early age, Marrit de Groot had a thing for making. Drawing, water colouring, but also making clothes for her dolls from scraps of fabric. She eventually became a teacher of fine art and design. She also started her own art company: Mouseworks. From her studio in Niehove, Marrit makes artistic ceramic utensils. Her contemporary, hand-shaped creations are super fun as a souvenir of a nice trip through Groningen or to give as a gift to someone you love.
