It is a small-scale mixed farm with Schoonebeeker sheep, Dutch Land goats, fruit orchards and vegetable and herb gardens.

The 20 spacious pitches are situated around a large pond with a newly planted standard orchard with wooded borders on one side and a sheltered field with old trees and bushes on the other.

The new sanitary facilities are in the barn of the farmhouse and the large barn can be used in bad weather.

Its location makes it a perfect starting point for cycling and cultural excursions: the city of Groningen, the many vaunted churches of the Hoogeland, Pieterburen, Lauwersmeer, ...

There is always room for migratory walkers and cyclists.

In addition, they offer many extras:

  • a campfire place or your own fire bowl
  • a small library with books for all ages
  • toys and games
  • product sales from own farm (vegetables, fruit, eggs, herbs, jams, juice, etc),
  • a freezer for cooling elements,
  • coffee/tea/ice sale at the Rest Point ( where passers-by can buy something via self-service),
  • information on activities in the area
