The Wijnbrug Foundation marina is located on the Oosterdiep in Wildervank. Close to the water you will find shopping for daily necessities such as a supermarket, bakery, greengrocer, hairdresser, snack bar, grill room and Chinese-Indian restaurant.

Ever since a group of enthusiastic water sports enthusiasts, mainly residents of the Jachthaven Schipperskwartier , took over the marina from the municipality of Veendam in 1993, it has grown into a home port for motorboats and sailing vessels. It is managed by a foundation. This means it operates on a not-for-profit basis, which is reflected in the rates.
Toilets: In addition to ladies’ and gents’ toilets, the toilet block also has showers (free of charge). Outside, to the left of the toilet block, there is a disposal point for chemical toilets.
Electricity: You may connect to the electricity supply in consultation with the harbour master; the maximum is 1100W (4A).
Washing and drying: You may use a washing machine and tumble dryer, subject to agreement with the harbour master.
Household waste and recycling points: Several bins for household waste are provided on the site. Oil, oil filters, paint residues, etc. must not be disposed of in the household waste bins.
Jachthaven Schipperskwartier covers an area of over 2,000 square metres and has approximately 30 berths.
