In the Korrewegwijk neighbourhood of Groningen, three top-floor flats have been transformed into twelve beautiful rooms, no two of which are alike.
After checking in at reception, you’ll be given the key to your room and a member of staff will show you the way to your temporary home, no more than 400 metres from reception. That’s where your experience of staying in the neighbourhood begins straight away; for example, you’ll have real neighbours! Together with the other hotel guests, you’ll be a temporary resident of a house in the neighbourhood. A unique way to spend the night in Groningen.
Stee in Stad is a work experience project involving collaboration between people facing barriers to the labour market and volunteers. The neighbourhood centre aims to make a positive contribution to the activation and reintegration of people into the labour market, whilst offering school pupils the opportunity for an engaging and rewarding work placement.
