Camping Maereheerd

Our campsite is located on the fishing and boating water the Westernielandse Mare, which is excellent for canoe trips. We have a 2-person canoe for rent. A small rowing boat is available. The campsite is only 3 km from the Wadden Sea, where you can go mudflat hiking with guides.
All pitches ( 18) are spacious and equipped with electricity. Dogs are allowed, provided they are leashed.
There are various cycle routes and also North Groningen now has junction routes near our campsite, which is number 31.

Our campsite is located on the hiking trail "Het Pieterpad" and also the Pieter-fieterspad.
Campers are welcome at our campsite.
