Around 1997, the church was transferred to the Old Groningen Churches Foundation. Church services are held every Sunday. During the week, the music school uses the building for concerts. The church provides space for civil weddings and there is room for meetings and excursions. The church has been extensively restored and was reopened on 10 September 2004 with the lighting of the chandelier dating from 1802.
