Around 1997, the church was transferred to the Stichting Oude Groninger Kerken (Foundation for Old Groningen Churches). Church services are held every Sunday. During the week, the music school uses the building for concerts. The church provides a venue for civil weddings and offers space for meetings and excursions. The church has undergone extensive restoration and was reopened on 10 September 2004 with the lighting of the chandelier dating from 1802.
