Hoornsemeer
The Hoornsemeer is a recreational lake adjacent to the district of the same name, on the south side of Groningen.

The lake is an extension of the Paterswoldsemeer; in 1981, the final stretch of land separating the two lakes was excavated. Not long after, the Hoornsemeer was officially opened as a recreational lake.
