Transformatorhuisje
About two kilometres outside Grijpskerk stands a transformatorhuisje in the style of the Amsterdam school. During World War II, mayor Adrianus van de Nadort had the population register disappeared in it.

So it remained unknown to the Germans exactly who lived in the municipality of Grijpskerk. The registers remained hidden until liberation. On the door of the transformatorhuisje hangs a plaque recalling this. The bronze bicycle next to the building is attached to the transformatorhuisje. The cottage now serves as a war memorial.
