After the last expansion in March 2007, Eetcafé Time Out is now Grand Café Time Out. Wadapartja simply stands for: ‘How very special.’ This is what any Groningen resident would say if they walk in somewhere or see something out of the ordinary or something special. And we are! At Wadapartja you can shop, eat and drink during the day and evening. We serve breakfast, lunch, dinner, homemade sweets and nice snacks & appetizers. One of the typical things about us, everything is for sale. We have a store, but also the tables, lamps, spoons and even the art on the walls is for sale! We find it important that you know what you eat. That’s why we use ‘Beter Leven *’ chicken and eggs, local Porc d’or pork and beef fromout the provence. We also work with a quite some local suppliers, like our Bax beers, biodynamic vegetables from ‘Eemstuin’, specialty coffee from Koffiestation and sustainable bread from our local baker Luuk. Locally is not so far away! Wadapartja is the place where people come together, are inspired by the experience and everyone is included in their very own way. Everyone is more than welcome!

The Haren Hortus Botanicus (botanical gardens) is located a few kilometres south of the city of Groningen, and provides a varied selection of themed gardens on a terrain of no less than 20 hectares.
