West of the borg is the formal Dutch garden that was reconstructed to the situation of around 1705, which still contains several eighteenth-century flower and plant species. At the end of this garden is the sundial garden. Behind the borg is a tight garden layout of paths and lawns. On the east side of the borg are utility gardens with a fruit court with various old fruit varieties and a pear bower. Behind the treasure house, the former farm next to the borg, is the formal kitchen garden with compartments for vegetables and herbs. In addition, there is a rose tunnel that blooms beautifully in July and the large maze where everyone can wander. Along the canal, the stately plants bloom in spring. Around the outer ring are some grasslands owned by Vereniging Natuurmonumenten.
