Quirky shops in medieval buildings
Just to show off a quote from CNN about Groningen: "a winning alternative to Amsterdam." And rightly so. In the compact city centre, you will find well-known brands next to experimental one-pitters and luxury next to quirky vintage. Stroll past the many medieval buildings. Or visit the regional markets and the cosy village centres in the surrounding countryside.
