Kinderboekenhuis Winsum
The KinderBoekenHuis in Winsum houses one of the largest collections of Dutch-language children's and youth books. Some thirty thousand books to read and borrow, and sometimes to buy.
The Children's Book House in Winsum is a museum, a library, a second-hand children's book shop and a meeting place all in one. It is a foundation that relies on volunteers and donations of children's books from all over the country. We display temporary exhibitions with books from the special collection, we lend books from the general collection and the duplicate books we receive we offer for sale at a small price. The KinderBoekenHuis now houses one of the largest collections of Dutch-language children's and youth books, making it a special place of remembrance for young and old.
