Westerkwartier

In the Westerkwartier, wierden, borgen, mills and churches have marked the horizon in the Groningen landscape for centuries. Nature, heritage and special light have therefore inspired many a painter.

Waddenland

In Waddenland, you walk on the bottom of the sea and sleep under a true Dark Sky. Here you will find the National Park Lauwersmeer and UNESCO World Heritage Site the Wadden Sea; unique areas where nature is still truly central.

Eemsdelta

Historic Appingedam with its hangende keukens. And in the backyard the Dollard and the Wadden Sea UNESCO World Heritage Site. You'll find it in Eems Delta. The medieval churches on the centuries-old mounds proudly tower above the vast landscape here.

City

Oldambt
