Kerk Fransum

Part of this Romanesque church was built in the first half of the 13th century.

Later, in the second quarter of the 16th century, the choir and west wall were added. The brick pulpit (the only one in the province) also dates from that time. In 1909, the church lost its function. Since then, church services were held in Den Ham. The building is managed by the 'Vroedschap Fransum' founded in 1971. The space is regularly rented out for concerts and meetings.
