Around 40 clients work at De Klimroos nursery. The nursery has a heated greenhouse, a cold greenhouse, two tunnel greenhouses (for cut flowers) and a large picking garden. There are two work areas, a canteen, changing rooms, a shop and toilet facilities.

Location
The activities vary by season, in tune with the rhythm of nature. There is an annual cycle. In early spring, seeds are sown and cuttings taken in the greenhouses. In summer, the greenhouses and gardens are filled with plants and flowers for the Pluktuin. In autumn, seeds are harvested and it is time to tidy up, so that the gardens are ready for winter. And in December, de Klimroos takes on a Christmassy atmosphere. Christmas trees are felled for sale and Christmas arrangements and other festive decorations are made. The extra Saturdays when the garden is open are very popular with customers from far and wide.
De Kwekerij is situated on Vosholen in Sappemeer, surrounded by nature. Sappemeer-Oost railway station is a 10-minute walk away. Hoogezand-Sappemeer is a 15-minute walk away, and the regional bus stop is also a 15-minute walk away.
