Around 40 clients work at De Klimroos Nursery. The nursery has a warm greenhouse, a cold greenhouse, two tunnel greenhouses (for cut flowers) and a large picking garden. There are two work areas, a canteen, changing rooms, a shop and sanitary facilities.

Location
Activities vary seasonally, tailored to the rhythms of nature. There is an annual cycle. In early spring, seeds are sown and propagated in the greenhouses. In summer, the greenhouses and gardens are filled with plants and flowers for the benefit of the picking garden. In autumn, seeds are harvested and it is time to tidy up so that the gardens are delivered ready for winter. And in December, de Klimroos is in the spirit of Christmas. Christmas trees are uprooted for sale and Christmas arrangements and other Christmas decorations are made. The extra open Saturdays are busy with customers from far and wide.
The Nursery is located on the Vosholen in Sappemeer in the middle of nature. Sappemeer-Oost railway station is 10 minutes' walk away. Hoogezand-Sappemeer is 15 minutes' walk away and the regional bus stop is 15 minutes' walk away.
