Brouwerij Martinus is a family business. In a monumental building on the Kostersgang, a stone's throw from the Grote markt, youngest son Martijn brews his tasty special beers with passion.

Brouwerij Martinus surprises visitors on every floor. On the ground floor, the beers are brewed and bottled. The bubbling brew kettles and the scents of malt and hops revive the old Groningen beer tradition. On the first floor, you will receive a warm welcome in the atmospheric restaurant (open Thurs-Sat 17.30 - 22.00).
Aan tafel next to the brew kettles, dining becomes a special experience. On the second floor, you can enjoy a tasty Martinus beer on tap in the homely brew pub. Weather permitting, the roof terrace is open, offering views of the Martinitoren.
From Thu to Sun, there are guided tours at 4.30pm....

From Thurs to Sun, there are guided tours at 4.30pm explaining the beer brewing process with three tasting beers served. On Sat there are several tours, see our website. There is also a shop where you can buy the tastiest Martinus beers after a visit. The shop is open daily from 10am. Sunday from 3.30pm.
