The marina is located at a junction of boating connections, you can go in all directions from the Hunzegat such as the Zoutkamperril, the Reitdiep, Hunsingokanaal and the Lauwers. The National park Lauwersmeer is a stone's throw away and Unesco World Heritage Site Waddenzee is accessible when passing the Robbengat lock. The Hunzegat was created after the closure of the Lauwerszee and has thus existed for over 50 years! Besides the marina with moorings for passers-by, there is a diesel tank and a well-stocked water sports shop with a bottle gas depot. In the masts workshop, wooden masts are glued together in the autumn and winter season, but you can also come here for other woodwork.

The camper spaces at the Lauwersmeer include drinking water, grey water emptying, chemical toilet emptying and waste disposal. In addition, you can of course make use of all facilities such as showers, washing and drying machines, loaner telescope, sandwich service, bottle gas depot and wifi.
