Bourtange Reformed Church
In the middle of the special historic fort Bourtange stands the church, a place where centuries of history and living faith come together.
As you walk through the narrow streets and along the old ramparts, suddenly this familiar building pops up - a landmark for residents and visitors alike. Our church tells stories of the past, but is at the same time a place of today: a house of silence, prayer, meeting and togetherness. This is where music sounds, beautiful moments are celebrated and difficult ones are shared. In this way, the church is not only part of de fort, but also the heart of the community
