PUUT

On the main street in Winsum sits PUUT. There, they sell second-hand children's clothes and handmade gadgets.

When Dana Ebbekink and her family started looking for a new home, they wanted to go to a place where they could do more than just live. They left Groningen and ended up in the Westerstraat in Winsum. Until then, there was very little children's clothing to be found in the village, and certainly not second-hand. That is why they started the second-hand children's clothes shop PUUT. The clothes sold there are of good quality; before Dana offers them in her shop, she checks whether they are neat, clean and not broken. The clothes she sells she would also put on her own children. The items brought in but not sold eventually go to clothing bank Maxima. Besides clothes, they also sell other products, such as wooden toys and soap to encourage children to wash their hands more often. At PUUT, you get quality clothes at a take-home price.
