On the NAP route (a cycle route from Bad Nieuweschans to Breda) and the cycle route network (between junctions 91 and 93), ‘the little yellow house’ is situated on 1e Garstelaan in a wooded area (built in 1928), where, on our grounds known as ‘Theetuin’, we provide facilities for organisations and/or clubs that organise cycling and/or walking tours.
If you are an organisation or association that organises cycling, walking or Nordic walking tours and wish to make use of the facilities we offer, we advise you to make an appointment in good time so that we can discuss your wishes. Our Tea Garden can be reached via the path through the De Garst nature reserve (after the ‘Groningse Stuwwallen’ sign by Staatsbosbeheer).

Regional information Besides a beautiful walking area in the immediate vicinity (e.g. the Battle of Heiligerlee experience route), there are also various places of interest within a short distance, including the museum Slag bij Heiligerlee, the Count Adolf statue (beginning of the 80th war) and the Bell Foundry Museum. Winschoten (second shopping city of Groningen) and the recreational area De Blauw stad (with two beaches), Landgoed Ennemaborgh (14th-century borg) in Midwolda, the thermal bath in Bad Nieuweschans and the fortress town of Bourtange are also well worth a visit.
Besides various catering establishments, there is much more to be found in(Oost) Grunning. In the end, nothing beats Grunn'n.
