Right by the exit is the Waddengenot aan Zee restaurant. This is our brand-new restaurant with views over the Wadden Sea and Lauwersmeer. Our mission is to give our guests that island feeling, right here on the mainland. We mainly serve fish dishes, such as kibbeling, Dutch prawns, oysters and lobsters. Of course, we also serve meat and vegetarian/vegan dishes.
A day out in Lauwersoog
Round off a lovely weekend on Schiermonnikoog by coming to dine at our new restaurant in Lauwersoog. Or enjoy a refreshing Sunday stroll on the beach and the dyke, followed by drinks and/or dinner with us, or simply savour a bowl of kibbeling with a sea view. You can enjoy a lovely cup of coffee with a slice of cake here after a brisk walk. You can also enjoy a full dinner and savour our fresh fish.
Child-friendliness
A special interactive children’s corner has been set up in the restaurant, entirely in a seaside theme. There are wall-mounted games, such as memory, a safe play area for young children, and for slightly older children there is an interactive play table with various games to play alone or with others. It’s fun for parents too.
