Jachthaven 'Pleisterploats' Leermens
Today, the Leermenstermaar and other similar canals in the region are only suitable for pleasure boating, but used to be heavily sailed by, among others, tow barges. Leermens is home to a rural marina that has recently been refurbished
Location
Management of the marina is in the hands of Stichting Dorpshuis Leermens. The marina has 13 moorings and is ideal as a resting point for canoeists, cyclists, walkers and boating enthusiasts.
