In an old schoolgebouw on the outskirts of Oosterwijtwerd, you will find Visrestaurant de School. Here you can go for the tastiest fish dishes, but they also have plenty of other goodies.

Location
In 1935, the Dieftilschool moved into the building in Oosterwijtwerd. The building retained this function until 2013, when it became vacant and was put up for sale. Kees and Lilian Hoeksema bought the building and converted it into a restaurant.
Visrestaurant de School was opened in 2016. The restaurant serves a wide variety of delicious fish. Think cod, plaice fillet or kibbeling. Simple dishes that will please everyone.
Even if you are not a big fan of fish, there is plenty for you to choose from at the School. The menu also includes tasty vegetarian and meat dishes. There is a separate menu for children. Enjoy your meal!
