The City Lab Hotel is located on the creative and dynamic Suikerterrein, close to Groningen city centre. The use of old sea containers, which have been converted into 18 beautiful and modern hotel rooms, makes the hotel unique and also sustainable!

The City Lab Hotel comprises 5 Deluxe King Studio rooms, each with a large double bed, and 12 Deluxe Twin rooms with two single beds. Ideal for different types of guests, such as couples, friends or colleagues. The rooms are made from old shipping containers and offer 27 m² of living space. They feature a separate sleeping area, an en-suite bathroom and a kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, a coffee machine and a kettle. The kitchen also features a small table and chairs where you can enjoy your breakfast or a nice drink in the evening.

The City Lab Hotel offers various facilities, such as breakfast, bike hire and the hire of a unique meeting room. Breakfast is served in your room in a beautiful wooden box. Breakfast costs €10 per person. The hotel offers a standard breakfast, but special dietary requirements and allergies can, of course, be catered for.
At the Oude Suikerterrein, we try to collaborate as much as possible with the various businesses based there. For example, we use Dumo bikes for our bike hire service, which means we can always offer a wide variety of bikes.
