The Museum Stad Appingedam is located in two beautiful historical buildings in the centre of monument city Appingedam.

Besides Groningen, Appingedam is the only city in the province of medieval origin. Walking through the centre, you can still clearly see traces of this: old facades, narrow alleys and a central square on which the church, town hall and court were located.
You can tell that Appingedam was a prosperous town by looking at the museum's extensive silver collection. The city had its own silversmiths, who were united in a guild.
The Museum Stad Appingedam has various packages, for groups, witches' parties, schools and, of course, a package can be put together according to your wishes.
