Need to unwind and surrender to the special atmosphere of the farm? Landgoed Wilgenheerd is a unique and hospitable guesthouse, idyllically located on the Hogeland. Come and stay in our beautiful guesthouse on the ground floor and with its own entrance. You can choose from one of two cosy guest rooms (each for 2p) with French doors opening onto a private terrace overlooking the Hoornse Vaart canal. In the communal living room, breakfast is served with (h)honest local products and you can make yourself a cup of coffee/tea or have a drink. Or you choose the comfortable flat (2-4p) consisting of a living room with kitchen and dining area, bathroom and 2 bedrooms and fully equipped. A wonderful place to discover the authentic Hogeland on foot, by bike or by boat, to enjoy the nice mound villages and towns (Groningen, Dokkum), the impressive Unesco World Heritage Wadden Sea, Lauwersmeer area and Schiermonnikoog. In short: be welcome to get a breath of fresh air between City and Wadden!

The guest house is entirely on the ground floor ( 2 guest rooms and 1 flat). Next to it is a garden with seats. There is a step at the front door, but everything else is on the ground floor. The guesthouse is not suitable for wheelchair users, but it is suitable for people using a walker or cane.
The guesthouse is accessible to guests on foot, by bicycle, canoe or car and by public transport.
