Fancy unwinding for a while and soaking up the special atmosphere of the farm? Landgoed Wilgenheerd is a unique and welcoming place to stay, idyllically situated in the Hogeland. Come and stay in our lovely guest accommodation on the ground floor, which has its own entrance. You can choose from one of the two cosy guest rooms (each for two people) with French doors opening onto a private terrace overlooking the Hoornse Vaart. Breakfast, featuring delicious local produce, is served in the communal lounge, where you can also make yourself a cup of coffee or tea, or pour a drink. Alternatively, you can choose the comfortable flat (2–4 people), comprising a living room with kitchen and dining area, a bathroom and two bedrooms, and equipped with all modern conveniences. A wonderful spot from which to explore the authentic Hogeland region on foot, by bike or by boat, and to enjoy the charming mound villages and towns (Groningen, Dokkum), the impressive UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Wadden Sea, the Lauwersmeer area and Schiermonnikoog. In short: you’re very welcome to come and enjoy the fresh air between the city and the mudflats!

The guesthouse is entirely on the ground floor (2 guest rooms and 1 flat). Next to it is a garden with seating areas. There is a step at the front door; otherwise, everything is at ground level. The guesthouse is not suitable for wheelchair users, but is suitable for people using a walking frame or walking stick.
The guesthouse is accessible to guests on foot, by bike, canoe or car, and via public transport.
