Location
Rasquert is situated on a partially excavated mound. Two borgen, Meyma and Mathenesse, once stood here, but these were demolished as early as the eighteenth century.
The village still has a former inn and grocery shop dating from 1864, on Meijmaweg. In 1977, the local council purchased the listed building and had it restored. Today, the former inn is used as a private residence.
