A holiday at Camping Wedderbergen means endless water fun. The indoor swimming pool is a favourite with young and old with its large slide, rapids and bubble bench. In fine weather, the roof opens and you can swim in the open air. For the little ones, there is a separate paddling pool where they can splash around safely.

And then our pride and joy: the largest interactive water playground in the Netherlands! Several slides, fountains and water buckets ensure plenty of action. There is also the play pond with sandy beach, a popular place for families to play quietly with water and sand.
Unique: the Water Valley
Our latest addition is the spectacular Water Valley with no less than 4,300 m² of natural water fun! With five play islands full of adventurous play equipment, this is a paradise for little adventurers. Here, children play to their hearts' content - with or without getting wet. Think cable car, play castle, water pumps, rope bridges and much more!
Ideal: Indoor Play Paradise
Even when the weather is not so good, there is plenty to do, because our large indoor play paradise is a party in itself! Children can safely climb, slide, build and explore in a colourful environment. For the little ones, there is a separate toddler zone. Parents can watch relaxed, ideal for families with children of all ages!
Plenty to do at Camping Wedderbergen
You will find playgrounds and playground equipment throughout the site. Near the centre building is a large sand play area, perfectly visible from the terrace. Our enthusiastic entertainment team organises a creative and sporty programme for children aged 4 to 14 during all Dutch school holidays.
Fishing enthusiasts take note: a number of camping pitches are located directly on the Westerwoldse Aa - ideal for casting a rod!
Catering and minimarket
Get the day off to a good start with fresh rolls from our minimarket. From noon onwards, you are welcome in our restaurant with conservatory and terrace. Here you can enjoy lunch dishes, snacks, pizzas and, of course, delicious soft ice cream. Please note that our catering is pin-only.
Discover Groningen, Drenthe and Germany
Fancy an excursion? Visit Dinopark Tenaxx, WILDLANDS Adventure Zoo in Emmen or the historic fortress town of Bourtange. Walking enthusiasts can enjoy the Hondsrug region in Drenthe and culture is also close by in Burcht Wedde or the monastery in Ter Apel. A 15-minute drive takes you to Germany, where Lower Saxony and the Eemsland are also great for a day out.
