Come and discover our museum! Museum Oldambt, dedicated to agriculture and the landscape of the Dollard region. The museum is situated in a beautiful spot in the open countryside of Oldambt. It is a unique and fully restored farmhouse of the oldest Oldambt type, dating from 1771.

On a beautiful spot in the open landscape of Oldambt in the east of the province of Groningen stands a farm from 1771 of the oldest Oldambtster type. It is a unique farm, the only remaining farm of this type in its original form. It has not been inhabited since the 1930s, leaving the interior virtually unchanged. The farm consists of an ensemble of farmhouse and barn on the farmyard with the adjacent villa Hoogheem.
The farm has been fully restored and the farmhouse houses, among other things, two luxury holiday homes and a museum.

Please note that we will not have a regular opening in 2026 due to the refurbishment of the museum. We will, however, be open for special events such as Heritage Days and a threshing day. Keep an eye on the calendar on the webiste and otherwise hope to see you in 2027!
