Kerk Grootegast
Grootegast's reformed church is a simple hall church built in the 17th century. The church was completely rebuilt in 1829, when it received its current exterior.

Location
This small hall church, originally dating from the seventeenth century, stands out for its white render and its façade, which is adorned with two large round windows above the entrance, a small round window in the gable, and a substantial ridge turret above that. The plasterwork was applied in 1829 when the church was completely rebuilt. The interior, which is lit by a total of ten large round-arched windows, was almost entirely refurbished in 2005; only the barrel vault and the underlying cornice remain authentic.
