Kerk Grootegast
Grootegast's reformed church is a simple hall church built in the 17th century. The church was completely rebuilt in 1829, when it received its current exterior.

Location
The originally seventeenth-century hall church is notable for its white plastering, and for its front adorned by two large round windows above the entrance, a small round window in the gable, and above it a substantial roof spire. The plastering was applied in 1829 when the church was completely rebuilt. The interior lit by a total of ten large round-arched windows was almost entirely renewed in 2005, with only the barrel vault and underlying cornice remaining authentic.
