The Wildemansheerd is not a campsite as we generally know it, it is a nature campsite. Here you camp amidst the greenery. A nature camping card is compulsory and can be purchased at the campsite.
Campers and tents under fruit trees in an orchard, a tent in a blooming flower meadow. Here there is no landscaped path or clipped conifer hedge in sight. As a nature campsite, Wildemansheerd is different from other campsites. When one is closed in winter, you don't even realise you can camp here in summer, that's how natural it all looks. With a location close to nature reserve 't Roegwold, this is an ideal place for nature lovers, peace seekers and bird watchers. Besides being able to camp here, they also have a chalet, from this modern holiday home you have a clear view of the surroundings. Walkers and cyclists can go for a cup of coffee or tea at the resting point on the Wildemansheerd site. The campsite is a wonderful place to completely unwind in the middle of nature.
